The newly elected Prime Minister Tsipras with the coalition laid out plans to dismantle Greece’s austerity program. Tsipras rejected any extension of 240 billion euro international bailout and sought war reparation from Berlin.
The municipality of the city Kilis to which the Church now belongs has a plan to renovate the Armenian Church and turn it into an educational center for children.

Russia claims that "Turkish Stream" is the only way to supply gas to Europe, but the latter has opposed the plan, even despite the fact that 30 per cent of its natural gas supply is received from Russia. According to European officials, “Turkish Stream” instead of "South Stream" is not commercially viable.
